May 14: Nothing worse than being second-guessed by psychologists
I should probably be in bed, but instead, I've been reading about Myers-Briggs Typology [Google]. Those cunning folks have distilled the salient points of my personality into a four-letter acronym. Yes - for those of you who care to play mix 'n' match, I come out of all Jung-Myers-Briggs-style tests as ENFP. Hit Google, and all over the place you find me quietly and accurately defined. It's quite frightening, really. But we mustn't put the cart before the horse. I mean, it's hardly faith-shaking stuff, is it? God made me the way I am so that I can fulfil His purpose. It's up to me to listen and find out exactly who I am and what I'm for. No test, however ingenious, will tell me that.
You can read all about my Myers-Briggs type and the other types at www.typelogic.com. Why not Google for a few tests and find out what the world of psychology thinks of you? You can add your results and general chat to the comments on this article.

May 10: A ragchew: Community and Jesus, Argument and Debate
I know it sounds negative, but sometimes it's bad experiences that make you want to blog/write more. I mean, look at Byron [poem], and he's by no means the best example! I tend to write long e-mails to Christian friends. Some excerpts end up on the net, like this one. I don't change places, names, etc. I don't have that much time. I trust my readers, though. Love one another like Jesus loves you. Think long and hard before you flame me for anything I say here, but if you want to get in touch, then do. Read More
May 10: Dropped calls from a Glasgow number
Just in case anyone else is having the same problem, I thought I'd blog this. (There's my solution at he bottom in the first comment.)
I have just received a call from a Glasgow number: 01412 707050. I get at least one a week. I answer the phone, and the line is dropped by the caller. I return the call, only to hear a recording of a lady with a lovely Glasgow accent informing me that, "I do not need to do anything", and that "someone will call you back about our products and services". At no stage am I able to speak to a person.
